2. Optional account service
A Cogitave customer account is an optional identity and self-service feature. It is not a paid subscription, loyalty programme, or permission to receive marketing. General website access, enquiries, and any guest transaction surface made available by Cogitave are not conditioned on membership.
3. Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of accepting these terms. If you act for a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to provide the relevant information and act for that organisation.
4. Registration and verification
Provide accurate, current information and an e-mail address you control. An account is not activated until that address is verified through a time-limited, single-use link. One person or authorised representative must not impersonate another person or create accounts for deceptive or unlawful use.
5. Account security
Keep the password and devices secure and notify Cogitave promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. Sessions expire after 12 hours and may be revoked from the account page. Cogitave may temporarily limit sign-in or suspend access where reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, protect users, or comply with law.
6. Permitted use
Do not probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, automate abusive registration or recovery traffic, bypass access controls, upload unlawful material, or use an account to infringe another person’s rights. Security research requires Cogitave’s prior written authorisation and an agreed scope.
7. Paid services and payment data
Creating an account does not purchase a service or create a recurring payment. You may optionally save a phone number and billing addresses for checkout prefilling, select a default address, update them, or remove them at any time. Prefilled details remain editable and are copied into an order only after your review. Identity or tax numbers and card information are not stored in the reusable account profile. Every paid service remains subject to its order-specific scope, price, pre-information, distance-sales terms where applicable, and explicit payment confirmation. Eligible orders and recurring engagements made with the verified account e-mail may be shown in the private portal for self-service. Card information is entered only in the authorised payment institution’s environment.
8. Availability and changes
Cogitave may maintain, improve, or discontinue account functions while preserving mandatory rights and access to records that must remain available. Material changes to these terms are presented before continued account use where renewed acceptance is legally or contractually required.
9. Account deletion and retained records
You may delete the optional account through its self-service control. Deletion anonymises the profile and revokes access credentials. It does not erase order, contract, invoice, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute records before their lawful retention period ends. Statutory consumer and data-protection rights remain unaffected.
10. Liability and mandatory rights
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or a right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Cogitave is responsible in accordance with mandatory Turkish law. A failure caused by events outside reasonable control is handled under the applicable contract and law.
11. Law, contact, and version
Turkish law applies, without limiting mandatory consumer jurisdiction or remedies. Questions may be sent to hello@cogitave.com. Version: 2026-08-21.
