Cancellation & refund policy

Send a cancellation, withdrawal, or refund request with your order number and contact details to hello@cogitave.com. You do not need to provide a reason where the law grants an unconditional withdrawal right.

Before service begins

If a service has not started, the amount paid is refunded except for unavoidable, non-recoverable third-party costs disclosed in advance. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

After service begins

If a consumer expressly requests that service begin during the withdrawal period, a proportional amount may be deducted for the service supplied before withdrawal. For non-consumer business projects, the proposal or project agreement governs cancellation by milestone.

Digital content and completed services

A statutory withdrawal exception may apply when an intangible software deliverable is supplied or a service is fully performed after the consumer’s express consent and acknowledgement that the withdrawal right will be lost. Statutory remedies for defective deliverables or services remain unaffected.

Refund method and timing

When a refund is due, it is sent within the statutory period, without cost to the consumer, using a method compatible with the original payment instrument. The time a bank or card scheme takes to post the amount is outside Cogitave’s control.

Defective service or software

If delivered software or services do not meet the agreed characteristics, report the issue with relevant details. Depending on the review and applicable law, remedies may include repair, repeat performance, price reduction, or termination.
